We keep the customer in mind.
Our family-owned business has surpassed the competition by putting our customers first. Everything from our recipes to our catering, our hours of operation and even our website is carefully thought out with our customers in mind.
TBK serves fresh, quality food at reasonable prices and we serve it fast for easy carry out or for dining in. Our customers can call ahead or fax in their orders, any hour of the day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! We’re open early mornings for breakfast, late nights and our Greektown and Higgin’s locations are both open 24 hours.
Customers have also come to expect and look forward to saving with our monthly sales and promotions. Our marketing group also sends out additional specials through the mail and our coupons can be found in neighborhood phone books and newspapers. We now have daily specials to start and end your days at TBK! Come by in the morning for our Early Bird Breakfast or stop in for one of our nightly dinner specials.
Environmentally Conscious.
At TBK, we’re very proud to be known for more than just great food. We keep serving our customers better with state-of-the-art innovations that keep the environment in mind. All of our kitchens are operated with the most sophisticated and efficient equipment in the restaurant industry. Our Belmont and Long location, which houses our main kitchen and is our headquarters, is the first restaurant in the country to incorporate solar energy to heat water.
By heating water directly with solar thermal, TBK is utilizing an energy that is renewable, pollution-free, doesn’t cause global warming and, more importantly, it reduces our dependence on foreign energy. Our solar panels allow for the use of an available natural resource that is affordable, reliable, and maintenance free.
In addition to our solar panels, our Belmont & Long and now our Niles locations use permeable pavers in the parking lots. Permeable pavers provide a solid ground surface and help the environment by allowing water, such as stormwater or melted snow, to filter through the surface and drain into the underlying soil. This drainage keeps water pollutants out of our natural waterways, which protects the quality of our water supplies. Just another way we’re utilizing a natural resource and helping our environment!
Part of the Community.
TBK is always a part of the neighborhood. We have proudly participated in numerous community events in Chicago and the suburbs. We’ve taken part in church and park festivals in the summer, collegiate sponsorships and sporting tournaments.
As part of our neighborhood pride, TBK joined the Belmont-Craigin Chamber of Commerce. The group addresses area concerns such as neighborhood improvements, the allocation of tax dollars and the promotion of business success within the Belmont-Craigin community.
In 2003, TBK teamed up with the University of Illinois at Chicago Department of Intercollegiate Athletics to become a sponsor of UIC Flames Basketball, as well as becoming the official concession vendor for all UIC outdoor sporting events.
TBK was also the exclusive concession vendor for the SBC Soccer Cup Tournament and the MLS Chicago Fire Amateur Tournament. We helped launch Toyota Park and their outdoor events season in 2007 by becoming one of their top food vendors with our TBK concession stand.
And in 2008, TBK teamed up with Old St. Pat’s RCIA program to help out the Cases for a Cause organization. We sponsored on-site catering at their event and helped them raise approximately $5,000 to benefit children in the Illinois foster care system. Cases for a Cause helps foster kids by providing much-needed suitcases for them.
